Sugar Rush Cafe is owned and operated by Tara Tootoo Fotheringham. Tara is an Inuk from Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. She has called Rankin Inlet home for 14 years. Currently Tara is in Winnipeg seeking further education so that she can learn more ways to manage and mentor other Inuit.

Tara gets her support from her husband; Bryan and children; Brett, Tootoo and Masha-May. Tara is also lucky to have parents living in Rankin Inlet who are able to help out when times arise.

Tara's goal is to become a viable training centre for young people and also to assist with skill building for other opportunities within Rankin Inlet.The mining and government are keys employers to strive for and through this skill development and responsibilty it helps greatly in achieving their goals.

While Tara is pursuing her degree in Winnipeg there are great staff taking care of things. Tara encourages you to take the time to get to know the team at Sugar Rush Cafe.
